Employees at the Lisburn Coca-Cola plant in North Ireland reported a disturbing discovery this past week. The workers reported finding fecal matter inside some of the coke cans on the production lines. The Belfast Telegraph reported that the cans, probably from Germany, ended up damaging some of the machines in the plant.
Health officials have been called in to investigate and a source blamed the misplaced fecal matter on immigrants who may not have had relief in days. Coca-Cola immediately responded with verbiage about safety standards being of utmost importance to them – as they should be.
